Hey Buddy!

I wanted to share what happened with Sparky yesterday! I decided after doing my seven steps to try to pony Gala behind Sparky. He was a champ he caught on really fast a little worried at first. But very calm. He just wanted her to stay behind him. We traveled about 1 1/2 miles at a walk and slow trot,   he did fine. Leading her on the right and left, swing the rope around and   turning with the rope around his butt he was great! As we came down the drive the rope was very slack and suddenly Gala took off. It surprised Sparky he thought about spooking or bolting   BUT HE DIDN'T!   He stood his ground! I was so proud of him!   She was on his right side as well!! I tried to pony her again today with no problem. The rope at one point today was under his tail with no reaction!   I tell you he's a changed horse!

One more thing.   After being gone at Christmas for 10 days, Sparky took my hand into his month and just held my fingers. This is the horse that was going to kill me! Remember? Couldn't have done it without you and Jim! I thank you often!   Life with my horses has become a joy and I don't get hurt anymore!!! I appreciate the knowledge you gave me so much!!!!
